The 25TN tweeter has a very low resonance frequency, making it possible to work with larger sized mid-woofers.

The tweeter has a designed-in acoustical phase plug, that ensures the off-axis good response and also increases acoustical pressure. Integrated small waveguide makes the usage of this tweeter very easy.

Dual neodymium high-temperature grade neodymium magnets deliver a high-density flux field for the CCAW coil with a minimum amount of flux modulation.

The tweeter has well-ballanced performance and very low har- monic distortion even at high powers.
This tweeter can be used in all aplication where high SPL and low Fs is required. Line-array systems, Hi-Fi center channels, 2-way and multi-way systems.

The 25TNX4-386B is a 1-inch neodymium silk dome tweeter rated at 15 W AES (30 W continuous) into a nominal 4-ohm load. Sensitivity is 91 dB (1 W/1 m), the highest power rating in the 1-inch dome tweeter group, providing additional headroom for sustained high-SPL applications. With a free-air resonance of 1,250 Hz and a 25.4 mm voice coil, this driver combines very high sensitivity with a low resonance frequency, making it well suited to both PA and high-performance hi-fi 2-way designs. The neodymium motor assembly ensures a lightweight, compact form factor suited to portable systems and column speaker arrays.

The frequency response is usable from approximately 1,800 Hz, with a very flat plateau of 90-92 dB maintained from approximately 2 kHz to 20 kHz. The low Fs of 1,250 Hz and high sensitivity provide wide crossover flexibility. The silk dome diaphragm contributes smooth, neutral high-frequency character with well-controlled behavior above the operating range. High-frequency response extends smoothly to 20 kHz.

The driver is rated for 15 W AES and is suited for high-sensitivity 2-way compact PA systems, hi-fi bookshelf speakers, and prosumer studio monitors where additional power headroom is required compared to standard 10 W dome tweeters. A crossover frequency of 2,000-3,000 Hz (12-18 dB/octave high-pass) is recommended. The 4-ohm nominal impedance requires appropriate crossover network design. Good to use with high-sensitivity 6.5-10-inch woofers such as 6FHMX8-152C, 61FHMX4-430C, 81XRX8-424A, or 8FINDX8-030 in high-efficiency 2-way designs.

The 25TNX4-386B is suited for hi-fi bookshelf loudspeakers, prosumer studio monitors, 2-way compact PA systems, and column speaker arrays where neodymium motor design, very high sensitivity, low resonance frequency, and 15 W AES power rating are the primary high-frequency driver selection criteria.
