The 251TN tweeter delivers incredible performance. The aluminum dome excels in higher frequencies with bright, undistorted sound. The dome is carefully attached to a poly-silk composite surround.

The tweeter is assembled on a small wave-guide, making a further application a breeze. The shape of the waveguide was carefully considered to fit narrow hight applications, such as TV Bars. The tweeters can be also vertically stacked for array-like columns.

The 251TNX4-384 is a 1-inch neodymium aluminum dome tweeter rated at 10 W AES (20 W continuous) into a nominal 4-ohm load. Sensitivity is 90 dB (1 W/1 m), suited to integration with moderate-to-high-sensitivity 6.5-10-inch woofers in 2-way compact PA and installation systems. With a free-air resonance of 1,500 Hz and a 25.4 mm voice coil, this driver offers a wider usable bandwidth than 0.8-inch formats, with the 1-inch dome diameter providing improved high-frequency dispersion at crossover frequencies in the 2-3 kHz range. The neodymium motor assembly minimizes weight for portable and column speaker applications.

The frequency response is usable from approximately 2,000 Hz, with a flat plateau of 89-91 dB maintained from approximately 2 kHz to 20 kHz. The aluminum dome provides extended high-frequency response and good stiffness across the operating bandwidth. The impedance peak at Fs (1,500 Hz) is well-defined. The wide-band flat response and moderate Fs make this driver suitable for standard passive 2-way crossover integration at 2-3 kHz.

The driver is rated for 10 W AES and is intended for compact PA satellite tops, column array modules, and commercial installation products. A crossover frequency of 2,000-3,000 Hz (12-18 dB/octave high-pass) is recommended. The 4-ohm nominal impedance requires crossover components and amplifier channels rated for low-impedance operation. Good to use with 6.5-8-inch woofers such as 61FHMX4-430C, 8FHMX4-091, 8FINDX8-030, or 81FINDX8-290 in 2-way compact PA tops and column speaker designs.

The 251TNX4-384 is suited for 2-way compact PA top cabinets, column speaker arrays, portable PA systems, and commercial installation products where a 1-inch neodymium aluminum dome tweeter with wide frequency range, low resonance, and compact lightweight construction is required.
