The 8FIND is a high efficiency, (97 dB 1watt / 1 meter) 8-inch mid bass woofer with incredibly linear frequency response characteristics, high power handling capability while generating low harmonic distortion artifacts.
The 8FIND uses a lightweight carbon fiber loaded cone assembly along with a precision double roll surround. This combination provides remarkable strength, high efficiency and a excursion linearity of 9.4mm.
Magnetic Circuit
REDCATT engineers have developed an efficient, ferrite based magnetic circuit, capable of delivering the highest level of performance providing a consistent, high integrity magnetic flux gap, low distortion characteristic. The magnetic circuit design is optimized to generate the minimum amount of flux modulation, providing exceptional stability.

A high-pass filter in the range of 41-56 Hz (24 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley) is recommended depending on enclosure tuning, with a typical crossover to a high-frequency driver at 1.5-3 kHz.
