The 30FF is a high efficiency, (86dB1watt / 1 meter) 3-inch full range speakerwith linear frequency response characteristics and high power handling capabilitywhile generating low harmonic distortionartifacts. The 30FF uses a lightweight exponential pressed cone assembly along witha NBR single roll geometry surround. Thecombination provides remarkable strength,high efficiency and sustained output underextreme conditions.Power HandlingAt the core of the 30FF is it’s voice coiltechnology featuring a Kapton formermaterial capable of withstanding peaktemperatures in excess of 240C, well beyond the thermal requirements of modernprofessional audio systems and providingoptimal structural strength and thermalcharacteristics. Former strength providesthe ideal transfer of power between thevoice coil and the cone assembly andassists in reducing distortion artifacts. Bycombining this material with state of theart adhesives and our winding voice coiltechnology, the 30FF delivers very highperformance. The best application is in columnspeakers, two-way and multi-way audiosystems. Due to its good HF extension, theHF units are not required.
