The 12NPM is a high efficiency,(98.5 dB 1watt / 1 meter) 12-inch mid basswoofer with incredibly linear frequency response characteristics, extreme high powerhandling capability while generating lowharmonic distortion artifacts.-The 12NPM uses a lightweight carbonfiber loaded cone assembly along witha precision double roll constant geometry surround. This combination providesremarkable strength, high efficiency and aexcursion linearity of 7.5mm.Magnetic CircuitREDCATT engineers have developed alightweight, inside-neodymium slug basedmagnetic circuit capable of delivering thehighest level of performance providinga consistent, high integrity magnetic fluxgap, ultra low distortion characteristic andhigh efficiency cooling system. The magnetic circuit design is optimized to generate the minimum amount of flux modulation, providing exceptional stability.
